Day Trip- Springfield, Massachusetts 7/27/2012
Part 8, Lyman & Merrie Wood Museum of Springfield History across the street from the Springfield Museums quadrangle. Granville Brothers Aircraft lasted only 10 years, but was well known in aircraft racing, before commercial air travel. Henry Ford invented mass production, and handmade auto companies went out of business. Rolls-Royce chose Springfield, Massachusetts as the place to manufacture their cars for the USA market. Curbside gas pumps.
